Swap the bacon out for Nong's marinated pork belly and you'll wonder why you ever settled for just bacon on a BLT. Be warned - it's hard to go back after this.
- 1lb pork belly
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- ¼ cup Nong’s Khao Man Gai Sauce
- tomato, sliced
- salt & pepper
Slice the pork belly into thick slices. Mix the hoisin with Nong's sauce, then massage the sauce into the pork belly. Place in a sealed container and let marinate in the fridge overnight.
Bake the marinated pork belly at 275° F for about 2 hours. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes, then sear it briefly over high heat in a hot pan.
Build your sandwich, as desired, and enjoy! And for a healthier alternative, try lettuce wraps instead of using bread.
